In my blog, above, you'll note that tests find that eve BPA-free plastics have been found to release the chemical when heated in microwaves, so keep 'em cool! Even "microwave safe," non-polycarbonate plastics, the type that Rubbermaid Sips are made of, have been found to leach Bisphenol-A.
